About the Cover
Cover: Photoreceptor outer segments internalized by RPE-J cells. RPE-J cells were incubated with FITC-labeled bovine outer segments for 4 hours followed by quenching of extracellular fluorescence with trypan blue. Cells were then fixed and counterstained with propidium iodide. The image is a single confocal X-Y scan through the cells at the level of the nucleus.
