Cover: Bovine ciliary processes immunostained with monoclonal antibodies to the Na-K-Cl cotransporter (green) and Na-K ATPase catalytic subunit (red). The Na-K-Cl cotransporter localizes primarily to the basolateral surfaces of the pigmented epithelial layer whereas the Na-K ATPase localizes primarily to the basolateral surfaces of the nonpigmented epithelial layer.
