About the Cover
Cover: Choroidal flatmount from a subject with Geographic Atrophy. The tissue was incubated for alkaline phosphatase activity and then partially bleached. The image represents a fusion of a reflected light image that shows the tan RPE cells with a transmitted light image showing the blue alkaline phosphatase activity in viable choroidal blood vessels.
