About the Cover
Cover: Conjunctival-derived cells were cultured in chamber slides and their purity as epithelial cells established by immunofluorescence. Fixed cells were stained for cytokeratin and immunoactivity identified by green fluorescence. Cells were counterstained with propidium iodide which stained the nucleus red. Note the intense filamentous cytoplasmic keratin expression in most cells. See Di Girolamo et al. on page 4705.
