Cover: Image of the fundus of a 4-month-old C57BL/6J viable motheaten mouse. The pupils were dilated with 1% atropine and images were captured in the conscious mouse with a Kowa Genesis small animal camera using a Volk superfield lens positioned two inches from the eye. There are multiple, small, white spots randomly distributed on the retina. Viable motheaten mice develop an early onset, progressive retinal degeneration. Please see Lyons et al. on page 1201 of this issue.
